I have to admit that something, which was planned, got cancelled at the last moment, which then upset me.
This then lead me to write the post below.
I’m posting it now, in the hopes that there is more here, than me just having a bit of a rant. 🙂

The schemes of the enemy, are ridiculous, when brought into the light of Our Lord God!
But will we bring them into the light, of Our Lord God, to expose them?
One scheme of the enemy that I would like to bring into the light, is the idea of, “So many people can’t make it, let’s just cancel, and rearrange for another time.”
On the surface, this can seem like a perfectly good thing to do. “All that effort for so few people to attend.” Or, “But we so desperately want for so and so to be included in the meeting.”
But, if we don’t have a meeting, then whose agenda, is being achieved?
God’s, or the enemy’s?
“Now isn’t that being a bit dramatic?” The enemy would love to whisper into our ears at this point. “Aren’t you just going a bit over the top here?” Could be another version.
My thoughts at this, go to, “Zeal for your house will consume me!”
I am FOR The Lord! Not the enemy.
The enemy is to be ignored, and The Lord, is the one we Should be listening to!!!
So what does The Lord say, about meeting together?
Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the Habit of doing. That sounds like …
Hebrews 10:24-25
24 And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, 25 not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching.
How about the parable of the banquet? (Luke 14:15-24)
Does this tell us something of Our Father’s heart, when it comes to meeting together?
Ok, that one may be a bit of a stretch, as the parable was meant for a different message. But does it also show something of Our Heavenly Father’s heart, when we fail to meet together?
The thought of, “But we want so and so to be included in our meeting, let’s rearrange, so that, so and so can be included.”
When this thought is brought into the light, this to, seems to be ridiculous to me.
How would so and so feel, if they found out, that the whole meeting was cancelled, because they couldn’t be there?
Taken to the extreme, would this then lead to thinking of, “I dare not cancel or not attend, because the whole event could end up being cancelled, just because of me.” … ??? “Ridiculous”, I say. 🙂
Now, the real question comes to me. Are these just my words, because I’m a bit upset? (Which I am.)
Or, are they the words of Our Lord God, going through me?
My words don’t matter, But, His DO!!
If this is just me having a bit of a rant, then by all means, ignore me, if you want to. 🙂
But, if Our Lord God is speaking to you, through me… Well, that’s a matter for you and Our Lord God to work out, together.
