Do not fear the Pressure of, Before the Break-Through

Have ever been told, “There’s a break-through coming.” To then only face nothing but pressure?

The Israelites knew something of this, when they were in Egypt. In Exodus chapter 5, the Israelites were told to make the same number bricks, even though they had to go and gather their own straw.

The pressure on them was turned up, just as Moses and Aaron had delivered a message of God coming to set them free. (Exodus 4:29-31)

Instead of just being set free, the Israelites had to make bricks without straw. Then they saw all the signs that God performed against Egypt.
The pressure was turned up, and they did get the break-through, and they were set free.
They did get to the good bit, and saw God’s hand at work in their being set free.

Just before the Israelites went through the Red Sea, they felt that same pressure.

Exodus 14:12-14
12 Didn’t we say to you in Egypt, ‘Leave us alone; let us serve the Egyptians’? It would have been better for us to serve the Egyptians than to die in the desert!”

13 Moses answered the people, “Do not be afraid. Stand firm and you will see the deliverance the Lord will bring you today. The Egyptians you see today you will never see again. 14 The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still.”

You only need to read the rest of Exodus chapter 14 to see how God sets His people, the Israelites, free.

If you find that the pressure is being turned up in your life, then is a break-through just waiting to happen?

Can we then press on in all that much more to Our Lord God Almighty, and then see the break-through happen?

Hebrews 10:36-39
36 You need to persevere so that when you have done the will of God, you will receive what he has promised. 37 For,

“In just a little while,
he who is coming will come
    and will not delay.”

38 And,

“But my righteous one will live by faith.
    And I take no pleasure
in the one who shrinks back.”

39 But we do not belong to those who shrink back and are destroyed, but to those who have faith and are saved.

Heavenly Father,
No one likes the pressure of before break-through.
Please strengthen and empower anyone who is feeling this pressure.
Lead and guide them in Your way to go.
Give them Your strength and wisdom to take Your path, that will lead to the break-through.
Our Loving Heavenly Father.
Amen.
